Massachusetts Academy: The New Mutants evade Emma Frost's agents. Emma tempts Kitty Pryde. The New Mutants split up. Dani and Illyana impersonate Hellfire Club agents. Rahne, accompanied by Roberto, tracks Kitty's scent. Amara and Sam search the academy grounds. All are waylayed by the Hellions. Dani and Illyana escape via stepping disc, but their teammates are taken captive.
NOTES: Dani refers to the adventure with Peter Bristow as having taken place "months ago". First appearance of the Hellions.
